Scanscape•Columbus, NE
•$15 - $16•Onsite

About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retailers each week to collect in-store product data by scanning barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable app on a mobile phone and report to assigned stores within specified deadlines. The role includes weekly display scanning throughout the entire store, which can take several hours, and custom projects requested by clients. Custom projects occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to two hours per store. Associates may also be asked to provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. Work is scheduled throughout the year, including holiday weeks, and meeting weekly deadlines is essential. This is a permanent part-time position. Base hours average 2.5 hours biweekly across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically one to two hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects, with higher demand from January through June.
