About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retailers each week to collect in-store data by scanning product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. They use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan products, and are asked to report quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

The role covers assigned stores every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Weekly work includes scanning displays throughout each store and may include Custom Projects that gather more specific details about products in main stocking locations. Custom Projects occur almost every week and typically add 1–2 hours per store during those weeks. The position averages 7–14 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload; additional special-project hours are frequently assigned throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and are expected to be dependable and quality-driven. The role offers workplace independence and some flexibility in working hours.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and be able to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
