About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retailers each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes throughout each store and provide quantities for about 45% of scanned products.

The work is performed in stores on a weekly schedule throughout the year, including holiday weeks. Associates complete display scanning across the entire store and may also complete custom projects that provide more specific product details in main stocking locations. Custom projects occur almost every week and typically add 1 to 2 hours per store during those weeks. The position averages 3 to 6 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload; additional project hours are frequently assigned, particularly from January through June. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work independently. The role offers some flexibility in hours, subject to personal scheduling needs and client requirements, and involves continuous physical activity during the workday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
