About The Position

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to collect in-store data at assigned local retailers each week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Associates visit designated stores and scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. They also provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates use a downloadable app on their mobile phone to scan barcodes throughout each store. The position averages 4–6 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional projects, typically adding 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June. Associates must meet weekly deadlines. The role involves continuous physical activity and offers workplace independence and some flexibility in working hours.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
