About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit designated local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. They use a downloadable mobile-phone app to collect data, including quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. The data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates complete display scanning throughout each assigned store every week, which can take several hours. They may also perform Custom Projects, which request more specific product details in main stocking locations and typically add one to two hours per store in the weeks assigned. Associates must meet weekly deadlines. Routes include stores in Wells, Springvale, Saco, and Biddeford, Maine, with workdays varying by store. The role is permanent and part-time, averaging five to 11 base hours per week across all stores, with additional project hours frequently assigned throughout the year. Work is performed year-round, including holiday weeks.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach six feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
