About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. They use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to collect data that is analyzed to improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates also provide quantity information for about 45% of scanned products.

The role involves weekly store visits and display scanning across the entire store, which can take several hours. Clients frequently request additional detail about products in main stocking locations through Custom Projects; these projects occur almost every week and can add 1–2 hours per store. Associates must meet deadlines and work dependably and accurately. The position averages 4–10 base hours per week across all stores, with additional project hours frequently assigned throughout the year. Work is available year-round, including holiday weeks. The role offers workplace independence and some flexibility in working hours, subject to client requirements and store schedules.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
