About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retailers each week to scan product barcodes on displays and throughout store aisles, including end caps. They use a downloadable mobile-phone app to collect data that is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates may also record quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

The position involves weekly work at assigned stores for 52 weeks per year, including holiday weeks. Display scanning is performed throughout the store and can take several hours. Custom Projects requesting additional product details occur almost every week and may add 1–2 hours per store. Base hours average 4–10 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload; additional project hours are frequently assigned during the year, with higher demand from January through June. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work independently. Scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.

The role is permanent and part-time. It offers some flexibility in working hours and workplace independence, with continuous physical activity throughout the workday. The listed route includes convenience and grocery stores in Gainesville, Newberry, and Old Town, Florida, on specified weekdays.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum auto insurance coverage required by the state.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
