About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. They use a downloadable mobile app to collect data that is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates also report quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

The role involves weekly store visits for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks, and requires completing store scanning within specified deadlines. Display scanning is performed throughout the store each week and may take several hours. Custom Projects, which gather additional product details in main stocking locations, occur almost every week and can add 1–2 hours per store in those weeks.

The position averages 7–13 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional work, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, is frequently assigned for special projects, with higher demand from January through June. Scheduling details are reviewed during the interview. The role offers workplace independence and some flexibility in hours. Workdays listed for the available route vary by store and include Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
