About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The collected data is analyzed and used to improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes throughout each store and provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

This permanent part-time role covers assigned local retailers each week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. The base schedule averages 2–6 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional special-project work is frequently assigned, typically adding 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. Full scheduling details are reviewed during the interview. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and can expect continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift. The role offers workplace independence and some flexibility in hours.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle and minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to remain on your feet for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Tech savvy.

Responsibilities
