About The Position

ScanScape is hiring a permanent part-time Retail Scan Associate to collect in-store product data at assigned local retailers. Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week and scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan products and are asked to provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

The role averages 2–6 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects, with greater demand from January through June. Associates must complete assigned work within weekly deadlines. Display Scanning takes place throughout the store each week and may take several hours; Custom Projects occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to 2 hours per store during those weeks. Work is assigned year-round for 52 weeks, including holiday weeks. Full scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.

The position offers independence and some flexibility in working hours. It involves continuous physical activity throughout the workday. Routes include grocery stores in Franklin, New Hampshire, with available workdays of Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday, and convenience stores in Tilton, New Hampshire, with available workdays Sunday through Thursday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum auto insurance coverage required by the state.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.

Responsibilities
