About The Position

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to collect in-store data at assigned local retailers each week throughout the year, including holiday weeks. Associates visit a designated selection of stores and use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. They also provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates complete weekly Display Scanning throughout the entire store, which can take several hours, and may perform Custom Projects requested by clients. These projects occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. Associates must meet store deadlines and deliver accurate, dependable work while working independently. The role involves continuous physical activity during work shifts.

This is a permanent part-time position averaging 2–6 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects, with higher demand from January through June. The route lists convenience-store work in Franklin, New Jersey, available Sunday through Thursday, and grocery-store work in Franklin, available Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods and access products throughout stores.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach six feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
