About The Position

Five Daughters Bakery is seeking a Sales Associate for its Franklin, Tennessee location at The Factory. The role is suited to someone who enjoys serving customers, communicating about pastries, and multitasking in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The bakery’s mission is to enrich the lives of everyone it encounters through the love of God, quality food, service, and integrity in business and self-management. This is a part-time position for 20–30 hours per week, including weekends. Monday–Friday closing shifts are part of the schedule, and the bakery is seeking team members available for both opening and evening shifts. Opening shifts may begin as early as 6:00 AM, and evening shifts may run later in the day. Schedules are posted two weeks in advance and are intended to remain consistent with availability; the bakery will try to accommodate school or a second job where possible. The hourly rate with tip share is $16.00–$18.00.

Requirements

Must be 18 or older.
Able to stand and walk for a full shift and repeatedly lift up to 30 pounds.
Able to bend, squat, twist, and reach as needed.
Solid customer service instincts and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Reliable and organized, with basic time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to talk with customers.
Knowledgeable about the bakery’s pastries.
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Availability for both opening and evening shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and ring up purchases using the point-of-sale system.
Answer customer questions about pastry flavors and seasonal menu items.
Keep display cases and the front counter stocked, clean, and presentable throughout the shift.
Restock drinks, merchandise, and paper goods.
Unload and organize delivery products.
Wipe down, sweep, mop, and wash trays and utensils to keep the front and back areas clean.
Log end-of-day numbers, including spoilage, donations, and cash deposits.
Prepare the shop for the next day.
Report shift issues to the Shift Lead or Sales Manager.
Work together with the sales team to provide high levels of customer service and achieve team goals.
