About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes in-store work, such as helping prepare pizzas, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Full training is provided. The position involves interacting with customers and coworkers, working independently and as part of a team, and meeting quality standards.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
Proof of car insurance.
Safe driving record meeting company standards.
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers, both by telephone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform the listed physical tasks, including standing, walking short distances, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Provide customer service and communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders.
Unload bulk product deliveries and stock supplies.
Perform outside tasks, including removing trash.
Navigate stairs or climb a ladder infrequently to change prices on signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance.
