About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable app on a mobile phone and provide quantity information for about 45% of scanned products.

This is a permanent part-time role averaging 2–5 base hours per week across assigned stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June. Associates report to stores within specified deadlines, complete weekly display scanning, and may perform custom projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours per store in some weeks. Work is scheduled weekly for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks, and requires dependable, deadline-focused work. The position offers independence and some flexibility in working hours.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.

Responsibilities
