Retail Scan Associate (GRAND ISLAND NE 68801)

Circana•Grand Island, NE
•$15 - $16•Onsite

About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan barcodes and provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned. The role involves weekly in-store data collection at assigned retailers throughout the year, including holiday weeks. Associates complete display scanning across the entire store, which can take several hours, and may also perform custom projects requested by clients. These projects occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store. Meeting weekly deadlines and producing accurate data are essential. The position offers independence and some flexibility in working hours, with continuous physical activity throughout the workday. This is a permanent part-time position averaging 5–10 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours are frequently assigned for special projects, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. The route includes a Walmart in Grand Island, a convenience store in Aurora, and a grocery store in Hastings, Nebraska. Available workdays are Sunday through Tuesday for the Grand Island and Aurora stores, and Wednesday and Thursday for the Hastings store.
