About The Position

The Automotive Retail Salesperson is a sales-focused role in a fast-paced automotive retail environment. The position provides customer service in person and over the phone, works to meet and exceed customer needs, promotes automotive products and services, and builds customer relationships. The salesperson establishes clear service time commitments between customers and technicians and processes transactions accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Desire to succeed in a retail environment.
• Two years of consumer retail sales experience.
• Ability to communicate with and assist customers regarding sales and complaints to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
• Problem-solving skills related to customer complaints.
• Valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Ability to drive customer and company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a motivated sales individual.
• Build customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Merchandise, advertise, and promote products and services.
• Respond energetically to every customer, both by phone and in the store.
• Assist customers with sales and complaints to support retention and loyalty.
