About The Position

The Automotive Retail Salesperson is a sales-focused role in a fast-paced automotive retail environment. The position provides customer service in person and over the phone, helps customers engage with automotive services, promotes products and services, and builds customer relationships. The salesperson also coordinates clear time commitments between technicians and customers for service appointments and processes transactions accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Desire to succeed in a retail environment.
• Two years of consumer retail sales experience.
• Ability to communicate with and assist customers regarding sales and complaints to support customer retention and loyalty.
• Problem-solving skills related to customer complaints.
• Valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Ability to drive customer and company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a motivated sales individual.
• Build customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Merchandise, advertise, and promote products and services.
• Respond energetically to every customer, both on the phone and in the store.
• Sell the visit and encourage potential customers to use automotive services.
• Communicate with customers and establish service appointment time commitments between technicians and customers.
• Conduct transaction procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
