About The Position
The Automotive Retail Salesperson is a dynamic, sales-focused role responsible for providing exceptional customer service in person and over the phone while meeting and exceeding customer needs. The role uses effective communication and an energetic approach to sell customer visits, build relationships, promote automotive products and services, and establish clear service time commitments between customers and technicians. The Retail Salesperson also completes transactions accurately and efficiently to ensure a seamless customer experience in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Desire to succeed in a retail environment.
- Two years of consumer retail sales experience.
- Ability to communicate with and assist customers with sales and complaints to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
- Problem-solving skills related to customer complaints.
- Valid automobile driver's license at all times.
- Ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Operate as a motivated sales individual.
- Build customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Merchandise, advertise, and promote products and services.
- Respond energetically to every customer, both on the phone and in the store.
- Assist customers with sales and complaints to support customer retention and loyalty.
- Complete customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
