About The Position

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent encouraged.
At least 1 year of previous merchandising or retail experience.
Ability to communicate and present information effectively to customers, peers, and all levels of management.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and ability to use a calculator.
Self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time-management skills.
Ability to follow through on projects in a timely manner.
Comfort using computers and frequent use of RF equipment.
Flexible scheduling and availability to work retail hours, which may include days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and perform frequent movement.
May occasionally need to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, or reach above eye level.
Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Ability to lift or move at least 30 pounds.

Partner with the Customer Experience Manager to identify opportunities that drive top-line sales.
Keep the customer the priority and provide exceptional service.
Use product knowledge to educate and assist customers in making the best choice and increase sales.
Convert customers into clients.
Maintain high customer-readiness standards by keeping the store clean, neat, and easy to shop.
Ensure shortage-prevention initiatives are executed.
Perform other customer-facing, vendor-specific duties as needed and other duties as assigned.
Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Foster acceptance and respect, strengthening relationships and authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
