About The Position

The Vendor Paid Specialist is affiliated with a specific brand and uses vendor product knowledge and selling skills to drive brand revenue. The role creates an enhanced shopping experience, provides exceptional service, prioritizes customers, and communicates customer opportunities to store leadership and vendor representatives. This position is seasonal and full-time.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate and present information to customers, peers, and all levels of management.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and ability to use a calculator.
• Self-starter.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time-management skills.
• Ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Comfort with computers and frequent use of RF equipment.
• Flexible scheduling and availability to work retail hours, potentially including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Customer Experience Manager to identify business opportunities that drive top-line sales.
• Prioritize customers and provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Use product knowledge to educate and assist customers in making the best choice.
• Convert customers into clients.
• Maintain customer-readiness standards by keeping the store clean, neat, and easy to shop.
• Ensure shortage-prevention initiatives are executed.
• Perform other customer-facing, vendor-specific duties as needed and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Foster acceptance and respect and build authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
