About The Position

As a Retail Sales Specialist at Spectrum, you will promote and sell the company’s products and services to new and existing customers. You will help improve the customer experience and support a culture of exceptional customer care at store locations. The position offers base pay of $20.00 per hour, with the potential to earn $25.40 per hour through commission and incentives, as well as free and discounted internet, TV, and mobile services.

The role involves meeting sales, service, and operational goals; identifying sales opportunities; educating customers about products; building customer relationships; and maintaining product and pricing knowledge. You will also help maintain store standards, resolve customer issues, participate in training, and support a clean and welcoming retail environment.

The position requires a flexible schedule, regular attendance, lifting up to 35 pounds, prolonged standing, compliance with Spectrum’s dress code, and working in a moderately noisy retail environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• Comfort using personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms, and proficiency in computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks, and handle change effectively.
• Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based work environments.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Effective communication with employees and customers in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.
• Self-motivated and competitive, with a desire to exceed sales goals.
• Positive and professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
