About The Position

As a Retail Sales Specialist in the Yardbird outdoor furniture department, you engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and budget, then provide expert service and recommendations. You maintain expert-level knowledge of Yardbird furniture and its high-quality, sustainable products for outdoor living spaces. You use effective time management to optimize daily tasks and responsibilities, maintain department merchandising and readiness, and train other sales floor personnel to succeed in the department.

The role involves supporting the customer experience, completing transactions, driving profitable growth, and achieving sales goals. You stay informed about industry trends and products through continuous learning and professional development, keep current on promotional initiatives to generate sales during high-traffic periods, and continuously improve existing skills while acquiring new ones.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or related fields.
• Ability to work successfully as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
