About The Position

RedLion Wireless is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Representative for its Brooklyn, 86th St (Bayridge) location. The role is based in a retail store and involves helping residential customers connect with Optimum Communications services, including fiber-powered Internet, Mobile, TV, and voice. Representatives engage customers, identify their needs, recommend suitable products and service packages, explain pricing and promotions, and work toward individual and store sales goals. The position is in person, with approximately 40 hours per week. Pay is $20 per hour plus monthly commission; total annual compensation is stated as $45,000–$75,000 based on hourly pay and commission performance. Employees must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and may need to support nearby stores within a 35-mile radius.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail, wireless, mobile, cable, telecommunications, or sales experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Reliable transportation for potential support of nearby store locations.
• Ability to work in person at the assigned retail store location.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage customers and present telecommunications products and services.
• Sell mobile, internet, cable, TV, and related support services.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or service packages.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals, commission goals, and store performance expectations.
• Clearly explain products, services, pricing, and promotions to customers.
• Provide a positive, professional, solution-focused customer experience.
• Build customer relationships and encourage long-term brand loyalty.
• Maintain customer satisfaction standards, including Net Promoter Score (NPS) goals.
• Work scheduled shifts reliably and punctually.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a supportive, performance-driven culture.
• Support nearby store locations within a 35-mile radius when needed.
• Work in person at the assigned retail store location.
