About The Position

RedLion Wireless is hiring an energetic, driven Retail Sales Representative to work in person at an assigned retail store in Riverhead, NY. As a branded partner for Optimum Communications, the company provides fiber-powered Internet, Mobile, TV, and voice services. The role focuses on helping residential customers select telecommunications products and services. Compensation is an hourly base rate of $20 plus unlimited commission.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer-facing sales experience selling products, services, upgrades, or add-ons.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within a 35-mile radius.
• Ability to work in person at the assigned retail store location.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to proactively engage walk-up customers, explain plans and promotions clearly, handle objections, and build repeat-customer relationships.

Nice To Haves

• Wireless, mobile, cable, internet, telecommunications, or retail sales experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage walk-up customers and present telecommunications products and services.
• Sell mobile, internet, cable, TV, and related support services.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and service packages.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals, commission goals, and store performance expectations.
• Clearly explain products, services, pricing, and promotions.
• Provide a positive, professional, solution-focused customer experience.
• Build customer relationships and encourage long-term brand loyalty and repeat business.
• Maintain customer satisfaction standards, including Net Promoter Score (NPS) goals.
• Work scheduled shifts reliably and punctually, collaborate with team members, and contribute to a supportive, performance-driven culture.
• Support nearby store locations within a 35-mile radius when needed.
