About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is hiring team members for Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment. Team members work in a fast-paced, high-energy store environment, collaborating to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, provide a quick and easy customer experience, and keep the store clean and clutter-free. Employees may occasionally work in different areas of the store to maintain clean sales floors and stockrooms and assist customers. Sales and Customer Service duties include keeping the sales floor organized and stocked through re-merchandising and straightening; assisting customers with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms; operating point-of-sale systems; bagging items and handling bulky items; supporting fitting room customers; sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor; organizing stockrooms; checking in and ticketing merchandise; using store technologies; following operational, merchandise, and asset-protection standards; and promoting Nordstrom Rewards. Stock Support and Fulfillment duties include receiving and unloading freight, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders to quality standards, using inventory systems to scan and process shipments and research merchandise, maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms, and providing general store support such as preparing special events, organizing the backroom, markdowns, and relocating fixtures. The role requires continuous movement and handling merchandise, including lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds regularly and, for Stock and Fulfillment, occasionally up to 50 pounds. The hourly pay range is $17.05–$17.75, with offers dependent on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Ability to move continuously for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.

Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting items above the head.
Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
For Stock and Fulfillment roles, ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere and provide customers with a quick and easy experience.
Maintain clean, clutter-free sales floors and stockrooms, including through re-merchandising and straightening.
Assist customers with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms, operating point-of-sale systems and handling and bagging merchandise.
Support fitting room customers and sort and return clothing to the sales floor.
Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed.
Demonstrate expertise in store technologies and follow operational, merchandise, and asset-protection standards.
Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver new merchandise to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly and prepare and ship orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, processing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
