About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is seeking seasonal and regular team members for customer service, sales floor support, and stock. The ideal team member enjoys a fast-paced, high-energy environment and helps make the customer experience quick, easy, and fun while assisting customers in finding great deals. The role supports customers and store operations through fitting-room assistance, sales-floor upkeep, inventory and stockroom processes, and help with transactions. Team members use store technologies, promote initiatives such as Nordstrom Rewards, and resolve customer situations in a timely and effective manner. The position requires a flexible schedule based on business needs and the ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Create a smooth fitting-room experience by greeting customers, taking them to fitting rooms, and sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
Work with the team to keep the sales floor runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with a variety of transactions in a seamless and friendly manner.
Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
Defuse customer situations and provide timely, effective resolutions.
