About The Position

As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers. You help provide a quick and easy customer experience and keep the store clean and clutter-free. You may work in different areas of the store to maintain the cleanliness of the sales floor and stockrooms and help customers find merchandise. This posting includes seasonal and regular positions.

Responsibilities

Keep the sales floor runway ready, sized, and filled by re-merchandising and straightening merchandise throughout the day.
Assist customers with in-store, online, and mobile transactions while cashiering; operate the point-of-sale system, bag items, handle bulky or heavy items, and provide friendly service.
Support fitting room operations by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor.
Sort and return clothing to the sales floor to maintain a clean, clutter-free customer experience.
Organize stockrooms and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
Follow operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
