About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is hiring team members for Sales, Cashier, Stock, and/or Fulfillment roles at Centerpointe Mall. Team members work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment to make the customer experience quick, easy, and enjoyable while helping customers find merchandise and great deals. Applicants can discuss their preferred role during the interview process. Sales and Cashier team members support fitting rooms, promote initiatives such as Nordstrom Rewards, maintain organized stockrooms and inventory processes, keep the sales floor ready through merchandising and straightening, assist with transactions, use store technologies, and resolve customer concerns. Stock Support and Fulfillment team members receive and process merchandise, fulfill and ship customer orders to quality standards, use inventory management systems, maintain clean and organized sales floors and stockrooms, and provide general store support such as preparing events, organizing the backroom, marking down merchandise, and relocating fixtures.

Requirements

For Stock Support or Fulfillment roles, ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

For Sales and Cashier roles, greet customers and help create a smooth fitting-room experience; sort and return clothing to the sales floor.
Encourage customers and colleagues to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Organize stockrooms and complete inventory processes, including checking in and accurately ticketing merchandise.
Maintain a runway-ready sales floor through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with transactions in a seamless and friendly manner.
Use the technologies employed in the store environment.
Resolve customer situations promptly and effectively.
For Stock Support and Fulfillment roles, receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver new arrivals to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly and according to quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Help maintain clean, organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
