About The Position

Donations Sorters/Pricers are the face of Goodwill to donors. They are team-oriented, friendly, and help donors while handling incoming donations, evaluating merchandise, and pricing it appropriately. The role requires prioritizing work and meeting high expectations in a fast-paced environment. Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday starting at 11 a.m.

Requirements

• Team-oriented and friendly, with a willingness to help donors.
• Able to lift incoming donations up to 50 pounds.
• Able to evaluate merchandise and price it appropriately.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet high expectations.
• Available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or similar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and unload donated goods.
• Provide friendly, informed customer service to donors and assist with receipts.
• Maintain a safe and neat work environment, taking pride in the efficiency of the work area.
• Evaluate merchandise and price it appropriately.
• May cross-train in cash register duties and hanging, inspecting, and tagging textiles and clothing in a production-style setting.
• Lift and carry donations, occasionally up to 50 pounds and frequently 10 to 35 pounds.
