Retail Donations Trailer Attendant
About The Position
Retail Donations Trailer Attendants serve as the face of Goodwill to donors at donation trailer sites, providing helpful service and acknowledging donor support. They unload donations from donor vehicles, offer or issue a receipt to every donor, sort and store donations in the trailer, and keep the trailer area clean, orderly, and secure. The role involves lifting donations, working outdoors in extreme conditions, and physical exertion. Most trailers have some form of heating or cooling, such as fans. Trailer hours are Monday through Sunday and vary by location. Pay is $15.00.
Requirements
- Ability to lift incoming donations up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outside in extreme conditions.
- Ability to perform physical activities including long periods of standing and recurring bending, crouching, reaching, or stooping.
- May need to frequently lift moderately heavy items up to 35 lbs.
- Certain positions may require frequent climbing of stairs, ladders, or step stools.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
