About The Position

As a Retail Selling Colleague at Macy’s, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, provide personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, build trust and loyalty, and work toward sales goals. You also help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and keeping the sales floor ready for customers. During the day, they welcome customers, build personal connections, recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and assist with merchandise moves. They share the benefits of the Loyalty program, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. Teamwork, continuous improvement, and dependable attendance support individual and store results. This is a part-time role at the Holyoke Mall at Ingleside.
