About The Position

POP MART is seeking energetic, customer-focused Sales Associates to create memorable shopping experiences and represent the brand. The associate builds genuine customer connections, shares product knowledge and brand stories, and supports store performance through personalized service and sales. They introduce customers to POP MART’s collectible art toys and make recommendations that encourage excitement and repeat visits. The role also supports daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, shipment receiving, replenishment, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor and backroom. Associates may cross-train to support Robo Shop vending machine replenishment and inventory processes as business needs require. The position is based at Woodfield Mall and pays $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
At least 1 year of customer-facing retail, hospitality, entertainment, or service industry experience preferred.
Passion for customer service and creating memorable experiences.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage customers from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to build rapport quickly and confidently recommend products.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
Comfort learning technology, point-of-sale systems, and operational processes.
Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods, typically 6–8 hours per shift.
Ability to bend, kneel, squat, reach overhead, and climb ladders or step stools safely.
Ability to perform repetitive stocking, unpacking, pricing, and inventory organization tasks.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and build authentic customer relationships.
Represent the POP MART brand by sharing its story, artist collaborations, characters, collections, promotions, and membership program.
Educate customers about collectible culture, including Blind Boxes, MEGA Collections, accessories, limited editions, and new launches.
Identify customer needs, provide personalized recommendations, upsell complementary merchandise, and work toward individual and store sales goals.
Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and loyalty transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Receive shipments, replenish merchandise, organize inventory, and maintain stockroom accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, safety, and presentation throughout the sales floor and backroom.
Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, replenishment, and operational best practices.
Collaborate with teammates to achieve sales goals, operational objectives, and a strong customer experience.
Cross-train to support Robo Shop vending machine replenishment and inventory processes as needed.
Follow company policies, cash handling procedures, and loss prevention standards.
