Retail: Sales Associate (13 week contract)

As a Seasonal Team Member at Gymshark, you will play a crucial role in creating a unique and welcoming store environment. Your main responsibilities will include providing personalized customer experiences, offering product recommendations, supporting operational processes, maintaining product presentation, and assisting with customer inquiries and transactions. Additionally, you will be expected to stay up to date on store activities, communicate effectively with team members, and embody Gymshark's values as a brand ambassador. This is a temporary contract position with flexible working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.

• Provide a warm welcome and personalized customer experience for everyone who visits the store
• Support, advise, and direct customers, whether it's for a class, finding a product, or getting directions
• Offer the best product recommendations by asking questions and understanding customer needs
• Share information with customers about the store's app, classes, events, and services
• Maintain excellent customer service and engagement, reflected in the store's NPS result
• Support rapid replenishment throughout the day to ensure sizes are always available
• Maintain the flagship standard of product presentation by following guidelines and supporting visual team efforts
• Assist with operational processes such as store deliveries, audit preparation, and seasonal promotions
• Communicate customer requests promptly and professionally to ensure timely product availability
• Take direction from Team Leads to support store needs, such as greeting customers, managing queues, or assisting in fitting rooms
• Complete all required training within the set timeframe to ensure compliance, knowledge, and safety
• Learn about new products and confidently share information with customers
• Process payments, handle order queries, and support exchanges and returns according to store policies
• Support the setup and breakdown of in-store events and welcome and direct attendees
• Follow leadership direction, stay informed about store performance, and actively participate in store activities
• Stay up to date on store activity by regularly checking communication platforms and newsletters
• Welcome and engage with new and current members of the Gymshark community, creating a fun and inclusive environment
• Be a brand ambassador by demonstrating Gymshark's values and genuine interest in the community
• Have experience working in a customer-facing role and a passion for community, wellness, or fitness
• Start conversations and show enthusiasm in getting to know people
• Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
• Have a passion for Gymshark products
• Approach tasks with a positive and solution-focused mindset
• Comfortably work with digital technology
• Be willing to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
• Meet the relevant right to work requirements in the UK
• Wear the provided team uniform during shifts
• Work varying shifts with early start times and late ending times, including overnight shifts on a rotation basis

• Experience working in a customer facing role (high paced is helpful!)
• A passion for community, wellness, or fitness
