BI Developer

As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that empower our business stakeholders to make informed decisions. This includes providing continuous business solutions for the tableau dashboard, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing and maintaining BI reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and reliability, analyzing complex data sets, providing end-user training and support, and continuously improving BI processes and solutions. Strong proficiency in SQL, experience with BI tools, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail are essential for this role.

• Providing continuous and appropriate business solutions for the tableau dashboard that is used business wide
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into effective BI solutions
• Designing, developing, and maintaining BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using various BI tools and platforms
• Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data by performing data quality checks, troubleshooting data issues, and resolving discrepancies
• Analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Providing end-user training and support on BI tools and solutions to ensure successful adoption and usage
• Continuously evaluating and improving BI processes and solutions to meet evolving business needs

• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modelling concepts
• Experience working with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with retail-specific data sources, such as point-of-sale systems, inventory management systems, and customer relationship management systems
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Experience with data visualization best practices and design principles
• Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling and machine learning
• Exposure to cloud-based data storage and processing platforms, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
