About The Position

Retail Sales Assistants, also referred to as Jewelry Stylists, provide an exceptional experience for Brilliant Earth customers by helping them find suitable jewelry from the luxury product line. They meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment while creating personalized experiences for customers during important life moments. This is an in-person role at the Tampa location with a full-time schedule that includes weekend days. The position combines sales and customer service with showroom coordination. Jewelry Stylists support customers in person and through online inquiries, live chat, and phone calls; develop product knowledge; manage sales leads and goals; and assist with post-sale appointments. They also maintain showroom presentation and organization, handle product and inventory movements, support facilities maintenance, enforce waiting-room policies, and open or close the showroom and waiting area.

Responsibilities

Use sales strategies and problem-solving techniques to guide customers through purchasing decisions, including ring settings and diamond options.
Proactively greet, check in, and assist customers, delivering a memorable one-on-one experience consistent with the luxury brand.
Guide customers through purchases and create personalized experiences.
Manage a high volume of incoming sales leads to meet individual and team goals and revenue targets.
Respond to online customer inquiries and provide sales assistance through live chat and phone calls.
Develop and demonstrate knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry.
Conduct post-sale appointments for customer pickups, exchanges, resizing, and other inquiries.
Call customers to confirm showroom appointments and answer pre-appointment questions.
Review customer feedback surveys and online reviews, working with leaders to improve customer experience and sales performance.
Use the ERP system to manage tasks and communicate across teams.
Represent the brand and share its mission of creating a more sustainable, transparent, and compassionate jewelry industry.
Maintain the luxury showroom's appearance, cleanliness, and organization, including following product merchandising guidelines.
Coordinate facilities maintenance projects for the location, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor repairs as needed.
Send and receive products from the distribution center, customers, and external vendors; reconcile inventory in the computer system and keep it organized.
Enforce waiting-room policies to support a safe and pleasant guest experience and ensure product security.
Open and/or close the showroom and waiting area.
