About The Position
As a Retail Sales & Recovery Colleague, you create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You help keep the store clean, organized, and visually engaging by maintaining merchandise displays, tidying fitting rooms, and ensuring the sales floor is customer-ready. Your friendly, approachable attitude fosters a warm environment that encourages customers to return, while you support your team in achieving sales goals through consistent, high-quality service. Colleagues prepare for the day by ensuring the sales floor is clean and organized and reviewing goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions. They welcome customers, create friendly personal conversations, recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty-program benefits, make sure customers have what they need, and collaborate with colleagues to serve customers and communities. They strive to improve, take pride in their work, achieve sales goals, and learn from one another. The position requires availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with dependable attendance and punctuality. It involves frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, as well as talking, lifting, moving, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Requirements
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Have flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Be resourceful, eager to start a new venture, and adaptable to changing priorities; able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be comfortable handling electronic devices.
- Be able to talk, lift, move, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and be able to process register transactions.
