About The Position

POP MART is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support its Cerritos, California retail store during the holiday shopping period. The role is temporary and seasonal, with employment expected to conclude at the end of the designated seasonal period; the end date may be earlier or later depending on business needs. Continued employment may be considered based on business needs, performance, and available positions, but is not guaranteed.

The associate serves as a brand ambassador, creating positive customer experiences and sharing product knowledge and enthusiasm for POP MART characters and collectible art toys. The role supports sales goals and day-to-day store operations, including transactions, merchandising, replenishment, shipment processing, inventory accuracy, loss prevention, and maintaining an engaging and safe shopping environment. The position pays a fixed rate of $17.81 per hour, is temporary and non-exempt, and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws.

The work involves extended periods standing and walking, handling merchandise, repetitive stocking and unpacking tasks, and working across the sales floor, stockroom, and receiving areas. Employees may be required to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping periods based on store scheduling needs. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Greet shoppers, build genuine connections, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Share product knowledge, character stories, and enthusiasm for POP MART collectible art toys.
• Make personalized recommendations and help customers discover products they will enjoy.
• Support store sales goals by promoting key products, new releases, Blind Boxes, MEGA collectibles, and accessories.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing store that reflects POP MART brand standards.
• Assist with merchandising, product replenishment, shipment processing, and stockroom organization.
• Support inventory accuracy and follow merchandise-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
• Help manage customer traffic, lines, and product launches while maintaining a safe and welcoming shopping environment.
• Collaborate with store leadership and team members to meet daily operational needs, particularly during peak holiday periods.
• Perform stocking, unpacking shipments, pricing products, and organizing inventory.
• Use standard retail equipment and stockroom tools, including handheld scanners, box cutters, and ladders.
