About The Position

Enmarket is seeking customer-service-oriented, motivated team members to support the proper and efficient operation of a station during their shift, in accordance with company policy. The role contributes to store profitability and growth while ensuring customers receive friendly, professional service. Team members help maintain a safe, clean, and attractive store environment, follow safety and environmental requirements, and communicate operational updates to management. A flexible schedule may be needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Ability to remain calm and respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Ability to work in different temperature environments, including coolers, outdoors in varying weather conditions, and inside the store.
• Ability to lift and carry products using proper lifting techniques; the qualifications section specifies lifting up to 30 pounds, and the physical requirements section specifies lifting up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to traverse and access all areas of the store.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate the station properly and efficiently during assigned shifts and in accordance with company policy.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with management about store operations, especially changes or issues that may adversely affect operations.
• Prepare an end-of-shift report in accordance with company guidelines.
• Greet customers warmly, provide a positive customer experience, suggest purchases, and promote specials.
• Take responsibility for carrying out the customer service program at the site level.
• Minimize safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers, and enforce environmental and hazardous-material regulations.
• Maintain store safety and security and document accidents or incidents.
• Maintain the customer environment inside the store and around its perimeter.
• Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently and support the Safety and Health program.
• Promptly report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses.
• Complete the new-employee safety orientation procedure.
• Perform general housekeeping and help maintain the physical condition, safety, cleanliness, and appearance of store facilities.
• Perform other related duties as required.
