Retail Operations Supervisor
About The Position
Turing is seeking experienced retail professionals to work on projects evaluating and improving AI using their expertise in retail operations, sales management, and customer service. No prior AI experience is required. The work involves designing and solving real-world retail and customer service scenarios to test AI reasoning, writing structured responses about retail practices, and evaluating AI-generated outputs. Projects may help participants learn to leverage AI to advance their field, enhance sales performance, and optimize store operations. This is a remote contractor/freelancer engagement. Project duration is approximately one month, with the possibility of extension. Compensation varies by project. Applicants must not provide confidential or proprietary information, trade secrets, internal data, specific client or case details, or information that would violate confidentiality obligations.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a Retail Supervisor, Sales Lead, or Store Manager.
- Strong understanding of sales management, customer service standards, and performance metrics.
- Experience leading sales teams and managing daily store operations.
- Excellent English communication and reasoning skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and solve real-world retail and customer service scenarios to test AI reasoning.
- Write clear, structured responses covering sales strategies, team management, merchandising, and conflict resolution.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, professionalism, and operational insight.
