About The Position

Phillips Feed is seeking a hands-on, safety-focused Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead the team and oversee daily warehouse operations. The role focuses on ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company standards while supporting logistics and team development. The position is based in Vandalia, Ohio, and is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 4:00 pm to 1:30 am.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in a distribution environment.
• Ability to operate stand-up forklifts.
• Experience with RF scanning and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organizational, and coaching skills.
• Safety-conscious mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and write English fluently.
• Dependable, reliable, and energetic.
• Customer-service orientation and a professional demeanor.
• Motivational leadership style with a team-first attitude.
• Strong manual dexterity and control precision.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise second-shift picking, checking, and loading operations.
• Plan, assign, and direct work to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure warehouse and food safety standards are met or exceeded.
• Promote a safety-first culture by leading by example.
• Operate forklifts and order selectors to support operations as needed.
• Ensure accurate loading by stop number, stretch wrapping, and completing load maps.
• Submit route paperwork to the invoicing team.
• Collaborate with supervisors and managers to provide consistent performance feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
