About The Position

The Retail Operations Associate supports the smooth and efficient operation of the Maje South Coast Plaza store, with a focus on back-of-house operations that enable an exceptional customer experience. The role manages merchandise and inventory processes, supports visual merchandising and asset protection, maintains an organized stockroom, and assists customers and the sales team on the floor. The position requires attention to detail, strong organization, problem-solving, and flexibility to meet store business needs.

Requirements

At least 1 year of prior sales support experience, including POS, merchandising paperwork, cycle counts, and inventory management.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work within established timelines.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Brand-appropriate personal presentation.
Strong communication skills with team members and leadership.
Flexibility with scheduling to meet business needs.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Check in and process incoming merchandise accurately and prepare it for the sales floor.
Coordinate timely, accurate store-to-store merchandise transfers.
Manage markdowns by updating prices and ensuring changes are reflected on the sales floor.
Process returns to vendor (RTVs), maintain clear records, and follow vendor guidelines.
Assist with floor sets and moves in accordance with brand guidelines.
Replenish merchandise and maintain appealing product displays, signage, and visual standards.
Support shortage prevention and protection of store assets.
Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and physical inventory preparation.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure environment.
Keep the stockroom organized and efficient, optimizing space and restocking processes.
Assist with POS operations and accurate customer transactions.
Greet and assist customers on the sales floor to enhance their shopping experience.
