About The Position

The Operations Associate supports back-of-house operations at Maje South Coast Plaza to help deliver an exceptional customer experience and maintain store performance. The role focuses on merchandise processing and inventory management, stockroom organization, visual presentation, asset protection, and sales-floor and customer-service support. The position requires attention to detail, strong organization, proactive problem-solving, and flexibility to meet business needs.

Requirements

At least 1 year of prior sales support experience, including POS, merchandising paperwork, cycle counts, and inventory management.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work within established timelines.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Brand-appropriate personal presentation.
Strong communication skills with team members and leadership.
Flexibility with scheduling to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Check in and process incoming merchandise, ensuring accuracy and readiness for the sales floor.
Coordinate timely and accurate store-to-store merchandise transfers.
Manage markdowns by updating prices and ensuring changes are reflected on the sales floor.
Process returns to vendors (RTVs), maintain clear records, and follow vendor guidelines.
Assist with floor sets and moves in accordance with brand guidelines.
Replenish merchandise and maintain product availability and appealing displays.
Adjust displays and signage to maintain brand visual standards.
Support shortage-prevention strategies and protect store assets.
Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and physical inventory preparation.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure environment.
Keep the stockroom organized and efficient, and optimize space and restocking processes.
Assist with point-of-sale operations and accurate customer transactions.
Greet and assist customers on the sales floor.
