About The Position

As a Merchandising Colleague, also known as a Front of House Colleague, you help deliver a seamless and inspiring in-store experience. You execute merchandise movement and placement strategies, enhance the visual appeal of the sales floor, maintain organized and shoppable displays, and ensure pricing and promotional signage is accurate and current. You provide a welcoming presence, greet customers, and offer assistance. You collaborate across departments to support sales and create a hospitable, positive environment. Daily work includes preparing and organizing the sales floor, updating mannequins and floor layouts to align with company directives, and assisting customers with friendly, attentive service and product guidance. You recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, replenish merchandise, and support merchandise moves. You share loyalty program benefits, help customers, meet sales goals, and work with colleagues to restock and prepare the department for the next day. Part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week; schedules include weekend shifts, and hours depend on business needs and availability.

Requirements

Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
Ability to connect with customers, help the store achieve sales goals, and participate in sales-boosting events.

Ability to learn about store products and provide guidance based on customers’ wants, product features, and choices.
Responsibility for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.

Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands; stand for at least two consecutive hours; lift up to 50 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach above eye level.
Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
