About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring an energetic, entrepreneurial Retail Manager to oversee the successful operation of a retail/cafeteria food service unit. The role includes planning and supervising special functions, maintaining cash controls and payroll records, and hiring and training hourly team members. The manager works to ensure customer satisfaction and positive public relations through safe, efficient use of resources. The Retail Manager oversees daily administrative and operational work, staff management, financial activities, cost controls, sanitation and safety, inventory, and the rollout of culinary programs in partnership with company marketing and culinary teams. The role also serves as the direct liaison with the client.
Requirements
- Three or more years of supervisory experience in food service operations.
- Knowledge of retail, food, and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Leadership, management, and coaching skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, the Internet, and other necessary computer programs.
- ServSafe® Certified.
Nice To Haves
- Culinary degree, or an A.A. degree plus related experience.
- Supervisory experience in a healthcare, senior living, retirement, or related environment.
Responsibilities
