About The Position

The Store Manager leads the store team in creating a positive, upbeat work environment and a customer-first culture. The role includes managing staffing and training, holding regular meetings, ensuring compliance with company policies and programs, and monitoring business performance to achieve profitability goals. The Store Manager also builds relationships with the local community and may lead special programs or assignments. Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience may be considered.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Successful completion of certification testing as needed.
Strong leadership and managerial skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong team-building skills.
Strong communication skills, including communicating verbally with large and small groups of employees.
Strong analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

Two-year degree in a business-related field preferred.
Three years’ experience supervising others preferred.
Three years’ experience supervising others in a fast-food, restaurant, retail, or convenience operation preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the team in creating a “Customer First” culture in the store.
Hold weekly management team meetings and monthly store meetings to encourage feedback and follow-up.
Keep store positions filled with fully trained managers and Team Members.
Monitor team compliance with Sheetz policies, procedures, and programs.
Achieve profitability goals by monitoring and analyzing business processes and results.
Measure team performance against mission-critical goals.
Develop positive relationships with the local community to support development and store success.
Lead special programs or assignments as needed.
