About The Position
The Vitamin Shoppe is hiring a full-time Retail Key Holder to support store management and help create a personalized, memorable in-store shopping experience. The role involves supporting sales and productivity goals, serving as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent, assisting customers, maintaining merchandise and store standards, and continuously building product knowledge. The position offers an estimated wage of $18.00–$19.50 per hour, based on factors including role requirements, skills, experience, and organizational needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
- Enthusiasm and ability to effectively engage customers and Health Enthusiasts.
- Passion for the health and wellness industry.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, and at different locations as business needs require.
Responsibilities
- Support the management team and execute store operations with excellence.
- Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting team members in doing the same.
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
- Process customer transactions efficiently.
- Merchandise shelves and price products appropriately.
- Build product knowledge through continuous learning activities.
- Collaborate with the store team, referred to as Health Enthusiasts.
- Perform regular store maintenance and follow loss prevention standards.
- Process product receipts promptly and keep shelves stocked and products priced appropriately.
- Perform additional duties as required.
