Retail Key Holder - Full-Time
About The Position
The Vitamin Shoppe is hiring a full-time Retail Key Holder to support the management team and help create an easy, personalized, and memorable in-store shopping experience. The role is suited to someone passionate about health and wellness who enjoys engaging with customers, learning about supplements, and helping build lasting customer relationships. The Key Holder may act as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent. The role includes achieving sales and productivity goals, processing customer transactions, merchandising and pricing products, maintaining store standards, and supporting loss prevention and product-receiving processes. Employees collaborate with the store team, participate in ongoing product learning, and may be asked to perform additional duties as required. The Vitamin Shoppe describes itself as a wellness retailer offering supplements, proteins, healthy weight support, and related products.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
- Enthusiasm and ability to effectively engage customers and Health Enthusiasts.
- Passion for the health and wellness industry.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the management team and execute assigned work effectively.
- Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting other team members in doing so.
- Act with integrity and serve as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent.
- Process customer transactions efficiently.
- Merchandise shelves and price products accurately.
- Build product knowledge through continuous learning activities.
- Collaborate with the store team, referred to as Health Enthusiasts.
- Maintain regular store upkeep and follow loss prevention standards.
- Process product receipts in a timely manner and keep shelves stocked and products correctly priced.
- Perform additional duties as required.
