Retail Key Holder - Part-Time
About The Position
The Vitamin Shoppe is hiring a part-time Retail Key Holder to support store management and help create personalized, memorable in-store shopping experiences. The role includes acting as Manager On Duty when designated store leaders are absent, meeting sales and productivity goals, supporting customers and team members, maintaining product presentation and store standards, and developing product knowledge through ongoing learning. The position is suited to someone interested in health and wellness who can work a flexible schedule based on business needs. The estimated pay range is $17.00–$18.50 per hour. Compensation depends on role requirements, skill set, years of experience, and other organizational needs.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm and the ability to engage effectively with customers and Health Enthusiasts.
- Passion for the health and wellness industry.
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, and at locations as business needs require.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the management team and execute store priorities.
- Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting coworkers in doing the same.
- Build customer loyalty through personalized connections and memorable shopping experiences, including selling and building baskets.
- Act as Manager On Duty in the absence of the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Key Holder, as applicable.
- Process customer transactions efficiently.
- Merchandise shelves and price products appropriately.
- Develop product knowledge by participating in continuous learning activities.
- Collaborate with the store team, referred to as Health Enthusiasts.
- Maintain the store, follow loss-prevention standards, process product receipts in a timely manner, and keep shelves stocked and products priced correctly.
- Perform additional duties as required.
