About The Position
The Vitamin Shoppe is hiring a part-time Retail Key Holder to support store management and help create personalized, memorable in-store shopping experiences. The role involves serving customers, building loyalty and sales, maintaining store operations, and acting as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Key Holder is absent. The position is suited to someone interested in health and wellness who can work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, depending on business needs.
- Enthusiasm and ability to engage effectively with customers and coworkers.
- Passion for the health and wellness industry.
Responsibilities
- Support the management team and execute store operations effectively.
- Meet and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting team members in doing the same.
- Build customer loyalty through personalized interactions, memorable shopping experiences, and sales.
- Act with integrity and serve as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Key Holder.
- Process customer transactions, merchandise shelves, and price products accurately.
- Build product knowledge through ongoing learning activities.
- Collaborate with the store team, referred to as Health Enthusiasts.
- Perform routine store maintenance and follow loss-prevention standards.
- Process product receipts promptly and keep shelves stocked and products properly priced.
- Perform additional duties as required.
