Retail Key Holder - Part-Time
About The Position
The Vitamin Shoppe is hiring a part-time Retail Key Holder to support the management team and help create personalized, memorable in-store shopping experiences. The role includes customer engagement and sales, serving as Manager on Duty when designated managers are absent, processing transactions, merchandising and pricing products, maintaining the store, and developing product knowledge through ongoing learning. The position requires a flexible schedule based on business needs, including weekends and holidays. The estimated compensation range is $17.00–$18.50 per hour. Requirements
- Enthusiasm and the ability to effectively engage customers and Health Enthusiasts.
- Passion for the health and wellness industry.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Support the management team and execute store operations with excellence.
- Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting coworkers in doing the same.
- Build customer loyalty through personalized connections, memorable shopping experiences, and sales.
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Key Holder, as applicable.
- Process customer transactions efficiently.
- Merchandise shelves and price products accurately.
- Develop product knowledge by participating in continuous learning activities.
- Collaborate with the store team, referred to as Health Enthusiasts.
- Perform regular store maintenance and follow loss prevention standards.
- Process product receipts in a timely manner, keep shelves stocked, and ensure products are priced accordingly.
- Perform additional duties as required.
